Women “Fore” Women Golf Tournament

“Supporting Young Women in Sport”

 

The Hillcrest Ladies Golf League will be awarding up to three, $2,000 scholarships this year.  The successful athlete(s) must have excellent marks, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and reside in Moose Jaw.  By ‘athlete’, meaning they are competing at a high level of competition.  This could be in basketball, volleyball, speed skating, hockey, golf, soccer, wrestling, etc. 

The application must be in the form of a 500 word essay containing the following:

• Tell us about you

• The post secondary institution you will be attending in the fall and your goals for your education

• The role of sport and academics in your life and your future endeavours

• How sport plays a role in the development of character and leadership in women

Submit the application via email attachment to negraiff.deb@gmail.com by June 12, 2022.

The presentation will take place at the Hillcrest during the last week of June.  The winner(s) will be contacted by June 20th.
